The Swifter is a tool carrier from Strom with interchangeable spring or autumn attachments for seedbed preparation.
The Swifter range of machines are comprised of:
Spring Version:
- 1 row of levelling boards
- 1 row of crumblers
- 4 rows of straight spring tines
- Followed by 2 rows of crumblers
Autumn Version:
- 1 row of levelling boards
- 1 row of crumblers
- 2 rows of cultivator tines
- 2 rows of cross-kill rings
- Followed by 1 row of crumblers
The Swifter range are very heavy duty, robust machines and can be interchanged with various cultivation options to suit most soil conditions. The Swifter is suitable for tractors 160 to 500hp.
The Swifter range is available from 7m to 17m working width, with transport tyres of 600/50-22.5.
The Swifter models have a unique folding system whereby they are 3m for transport and less than 4m high making them very stable in transport. They also have front stabiliser depth wheels for ensuring stability when in work.
The Swifter range is based on American principles but made stronger for the UK & European soil conditions and have been sold extensively throughout Germany and Eastern Europe.
